I have been using these style wool gloves for many decades now. I run my mountain ranch and in the winter they provide extreme warm wet or dry. After a while I will often sew up a small wear spot and then they work fine. These glove work fantastic inside mittens too. I go through about five pair through a long cold snowy winter in the Rocky Mountains.
