IT is a great tool, up until the time when you have to dig a hole... It is flat, so you have to outline the hole, then stab away, until the ground is choppy, then proceed to dig. The Spetznaz (Russian SF) uses these as weapons, they sharpen the side edges and throw, or use as a tomahawk type weapon.
